With over four generations of shipwrights and fishermen, Cape Canaveral Ship Company found its home at Port Canaveral in the 1960’s when founder Rodney Thompson developed a market for rock shrimp to accommodate Florida’s booming seafood industry.

Expanding operations to include a retail market, Cape Canaveral Ship Company became Wild Ocean Market and opened its doors to the public in 2007.
