Our Company was founded in 1888, expanding into Florida State in 2019 through a merger with Florida Community Bank.
Synovus provides commercial and retail banking, investment, and mortgage services to customers through 28 locally branded divisions, 253 branches, and 335 ATMs in Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee.
In 2017 Synovus was named “Most Reputable Bank” in the U.S. in the annual Survey of Bank Reputations conducted by RepTrak (previously Reputation Institute) and published by American Banker. Of 42 banks included in the survey, Synovus ranked first overall.
