Crest Cleaners has been family owned and operated since it?s inception almost fifty years ago when Jack and Evelyn Glidewell opened the first location on Fiske Boulevard in 1963. Several years later they opened their second location on Courtenay Parkway in Merritt Island. Their daughter Judy Houston and her husband Lang arrived in town in 1966 and started managing the two locations and eventually purchased them from Judy?s parents. Over the next 20 years, they grew the business into 9 locations throughout Brevard county. Lang and Judy?s son?s Keith and Kevin were born into the business and now run the day to day operations.

Crest has an amazing staff of employees. They are the heartbeat of our company. We have seven employees that have been with us over 20 years, two of which have been with us for over 30 years. Our management team consists of eight individuals with a combined 130 years of experience. This is the main reason we have a reputation for consistently providing high quality service. That kind of experience and commitment is difficult to find, but here at Crest it?s part of our who we are.
